Professional biography

of Shinique Esthetics, a medical aesthetics clinic in Bellevue, Washington specializing in advanced laser hair removal, and founder of Laser Skill Academy, a professional training program for laser hair removal specialists. Over the course of my career, I developed the PhotoSafe Protocol — a proprietary, individualized laser parameter selection methodology designed to increase treatment safety and consistency across skin types and hair characteristics. This system is now taught as part of my training curriculum. Laser Skill Academy has trained over 250 practitioners across more than 10 countries, establishing standardized, safety-first protocols for laser hair removal education. My contribution to the field was recognized with the IBA Trainer of the Year award. I am currently developing a comprehensive methodology book on laser hair removal to further formalize training standards in the industry. My work spans three areas: direct clinical practice (Shinique Esthetics), professional education (Laser Skill Academy), and methodology development (PhotoSafe Protocol), with the goal of raising safety and consistency standards across the laser aesthetics industry in the U.S. and internationally.

Graduated in 2016 from IEE Educational Centre “Europe” with a diploma in Cosmetology / Laser Hair Removal, earning the qualification of Master Esthetician with the right to own and operate an independent practice (Diploma AAB No. 337, Register No. 93593). Coursework included Anatomy and Physiology, Dermatovenerology, Sanitary Hygiene, Cosmetic Manipulations, and Laser Hair Removal, all completed with top marks. Since then, completed multiple advanced manufacturer-certified trainings on laser and light-based aesthetic devices, including Lumenis, AdvaLight (ADVATx), Zemits, and Alma Laser systems, covering laser hair removal, pigmentation, and rosacea/acne protocols. Additionally studied under experienced physician-educators in the field, including Dr. Natalia Haberl, to deepen clinical and dermatological expertise. Creator of the PhotoSafe Protocol, a proprietary methodology for individualized laser parameter selection based on skin type, hair characteristics, and treatment history.
